Our Latest Welsh Pony and Cob Show News
Shedules are now available for both Youngstock & Spring Shows.
The next show in our 2008 calendar is our Youngstock Medal Show
Once again, the venue will be Richmond Equestrian centre, on 5th April 2008. Classes include qualifiers to Ponies Association (UK). Entries close 22nd March. We cannot accept any entries on the day.
Closely following will be our Spring Show at Streatlam Farm, Barnard Castle on 5th May. Feature classes will be qualifiers to P(UK) & N.P.S. Entries close for this show on 23th May. Again, we cannot accept any entries on the day.

It is with deep regret, to announce the passing of one of our Spring Show Judges , Mr Toulson. We would kindly like to offer our condolances to his family.
Mr T. Barron has kindly agreed to take over Mr. Toulson's duties for the day.

Grass Sickness
Grass Sickness, a devastating equine disease, remains one of the great unsolved mysteries, and consequently one of the most feared by horse owners. More information can be found on the Equine Grass Sickness Fund website.
The "AVONVALLEY TIDY" MEMORIAL SHOW, in aid of the Grass Sickness Fund, will be held on 18th May 2008 at Hetton Lyons Country Park, Hetton Le Hole.

About Us
Our association came into being twelve years ago when a group of local enthusiasts wanted to promote the welsh breeds in the local area. We now hold four bronze medal shows every year when we attract entries from as far north as the Borders, as far south as North Yorkshire and as far west as Lancashire and West Yorkshire. |

Our schedules include NPS, P(UK) and Rydspence Qualifiers and we also send two of our own Supreme Welsh Champions from our Spring and Summer events to the Inter-Association Champion of Champions Championship run by the North Western Association. |
